I'm not afraid but I am still ashamed to admit that I have committed probably one of the worse offends to a dear friend back in highschool.

But because of her, ever since that particular day, I will never see everything the same way again.

I probably mentioned about this fault in my blog before but I thought about it again and I just had to type it out.
I guess you can say that that day was one of the most important days of my life.
She saved me. Changed me. Made me open my eyes. She made me love who I've become today.
And I'm eternally grateful for that.

I needed one to draw.

SO first of all, I used a spare window shutter, a MacBook box, a random jewelry box, my old Barbie kitchen set table trolley and 2 art blocks (to put on top of the shutter so that it'll be flat).

Put them all together and voila! Magnifico~ :D works like a charm.

I used the handle of the table trolley at the bottom of the shutter and you might be wondering what that is for.

Well, it's slanted. So obviously the paper is gonna slide off if you don't put something there to stop it.

She passed on in Oct 2010. And just about a week before she passed, I was on the phone with her for a few seconds only.

I won't hear her caring voice anymore.
I won't get to smell the soap/perfume she uses anymore.
I won't get peculiar clothing from her anymore.
I won't get to see the enjoyment in her face when she eats food. All food.

She was caring. Cared about everyone. Everything.

First of all.

H A P P Y + N E W + Y E A R ! ! ! :D

It's finally 2012!
2011 really flew by. It's been a year since I went for NS! One year since I cried my first night in NS. Hahaha~

So much has happened in 2011 and soooo many experiences has been lived through. I've grown in various ways and 2011 will be missed.

2012 will be anew SO with that comes a few changes.

- Breaking "ties". That is my top priority and already it has been fulfilled :D It's important for me to move forward and leave the past where it belongs. If we dwell in the past, how are we to enjoy the present and what is to come eh?
A big thank you to Amama ♥ for helping me with this (:

- Draw MORE. Even when I don't feel like drawing. That's how one would become better at it.

- Argue less... with family members. This will be a challenge.

- A cleaner, more organized, room. This will be a BIGGER challenge.

To kick start the new year,
~I spent new year's eve, the first and the second with b.boy. (: ♥♥♥
~My college starts tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it and at the same time, I'm not.
~On THURSDAY, I'll be taking off these grillz! Woohooo :D

I kinda disobeyed my dentist. I was supposed to take em off last wednesday but then my lower row weren't in the middle so I had to postpone it to the following week. She instructed me to wear my rubber band the other way but then suddenly she put it the same way like before... which.. wouldn't do anything... So, I followed my intuition and changed the direction. (you follow? hahah) BUT it worked! xD So yeah, if this holds for another couple of days, it'll be off by Thursday :D

MOVING ON :::
Chinese New Year will be at the end of this month and that means a 1 week holiday!!!! I just hope they won't have replacement classes :/ Yeah yeah I know.. It's good that they do but.... the laziness in me is pounding :c very bad... very very very bad.

As this semester is a 'short semester', it'll only be about 7 weeks long. Thus, I'll be ending my first year on the 25th of Feb! ;D Can't wait for my long holiday!!!! Might get a job (: I would want to work at a pet store. Hahah!

So yeah, that's all I have for now. (:

BEFORE I BEGIN, I just finished another class today :D presentation was heck but the products were good and my lecturer was happy with it so yay! Just 4 more classes and I am DONE with this semester. Can't wait can't wait can't wait.

And I had a really early dinner just now so time slows down a lot when you eat dinner REALLY early... because you expect it to be like.. 9 or 10 already but it'll only be 8.

So I was bored and from time to time, I'd like to rummage through my mum's stuff and play around with em. AND today, I finally figured out how to use the dang curler. After many years of playing around with it ... hahahha.

HELLO AGAIN MY LOVLIESSSS :D

My internet was out since last Sunday and it came back on Friday :D

Kept myself pretty busy from Monday-Thursday.

Spent 3 days creating a 3D kolam design in Pavilion!

It was fun and one heck of an experience (: it'll be up till the 26th of October (Deepavali)

And because of this, I pretty much missed almost all my classes and now I have to catch up and I don't have half of my resources/materials with me. Which pretty much sucks.

So, I gotta get all my stuff tomorrow, and try to finish all of them tomorrow and Tuesday.

Oh well~ That's life.

Ohhhh but I'll have a week off the following week :D and my driving test will be on that Tuesday. Aaaaahhhh! I hope I pass. Need to have a couple of lessons again to refresh my driving skills.

Sofia's Surprise Road Trip to MELAKA

I was planning to record almost the whole trip. Especially her reaction when she saw us early in the morning at her place haha. Twas priceless :'D

The drive was gooood. We went to the zoo and Water World. The safari was pretty disappointing but I guess I can give the rest of the place one thumbs up. (:
Oh yeah, and we got chased by a goat at some point. And it took a special liking to me...

It DOES NOT feel nice being headbutt by a goat. ):

We got lost after out trip to the fun park. Took us about an hour plus to find the restaurant. Ended up at another restaurant anyway :/
Trip back home was unfortunate.

I feel bad for not posting much. Neglecting my blog. :(
What's worse, Mr. Mraz closed his blog.
PLUS, he is no longer engaged to Tristan. That is just sad.

ANYWAY, who'd like to play Minecraft with me :D
After spending 2 days, neglecting my assignments, I finally found out how to work this server thing.
Whoever don't know what the heck Minecraft is, 'its a gameplay that revolves around construction. The game world is essentially made of cubical blocks arranged in a fixed grid pattern which represent different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, and tree trunks.'-Wiki
Oh, and I've been watching these 2 brits playing the game and they are hilarioussss

WEIRD BUT FRESH~

Damn, I haven't been posting lately. Hope my readers are still with me! If y'all are even still "entertained" by this blog. It's boring already, I know :(

I've been having holidays for the past 3 weeks and this is my last. I've not spent it wisely.... but during the times with him, it was awesome :)
I've experienced ups and downs of relationships as it is my first.
Frustrating, yes, but A w e s o m e and I wouldn't have you any other way.

I've realized something. After a great day together, about two days after, I sort of sense the atmosphere between both of us declining. (yeah through texting LOL) Not sure if it's just me haha. To me, I guess my mood feels a lil hollow after that because either I have issues or I'm missing him waaaayyyy too much.. to the point I feel.... :/ siiigh. That's just my point of view anyway.

Besides that,
over the holidays, I baked a brownie with Thirah AND WE DID NOT USE THE PRE-MIX xD It turned out pretty awesome, if I dooo say so myself :D but I didn't like it cuz it was too chocolaty for my taste. At least the others enjoyed it.

On that same baking day, I recorded a music video with my dear friend, Thirah, as well. Wish Popiah could've joined us on our quest for the perfect brownie.

Couldn't extend it because of insufficient videos. Thanks for "cooperating" :P haha

My 2nd semester will be starting this coming Monday. Not really looking forward to it... Oh and my results are coming out tomorrow! Woo..

These past few weeks, I've been having bad backaches and at the neck area too.
Maaaybe it's because of how I sit.

Anyway, as I was sitting in the car just now, I could hardly breathe. I could take air in but it felt like it wasn't enough. My palms sweated and it felt like pins and needles.. but not exactly pins and needles.

SO I went to the doc and he said I looked pale.
I got my womanly problems again. Second one in less than a month. Losing a lot of blood heeereee so maybe that's why I'm 'pale'.
He also said my blood count might be low.
So I'm gonna get a blood test to my check blood count and thyroid gland, in the morning.

Currently still having pressure at my neck and shoulders. Breathing is weird.

Hopefully, it's nothing to worry about..

Mother bear kills baby and itself

The Chinese media has reported on an extraordinary account of a mother bear saving her cub from a life of torture by strangling it and then killing itself.

The bears were kept in a farm located in a remote area in the North-West of China. The bears on the farm had their gall bladders milked daily for 'bear bile,' which is used as a remedy in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM).

It was reported that the bears are kept in tiny cages known as 'crush cages', as the bears have no room to manoeuvre and are literally crushed.

The bile is harvested by making a permanent hole or fistula in the bears' abdomen and gall bladder.

As the hole is never closed, the animals are suspect to various infections and diseases including tumours, cancers and death from peritonitis.

The bears are fitted with an iron vest, as they often try to kill themselves by hitting their stomach as they are unable to bear the pain.

A person who was on the farm in place of a friend witnessed the procedures and told Reminbao.com that they were inhumane.

The witness also claimed that a mother bear broke out its cage when it heard its cub howl in fear before a worker punctured its stomach to milk the bile.

The workers ran away in fear when they saw the mother bear rushing to its cub's side.

Unable to free the cub from its restraints, the mother hugged the cub and eventually strangled it.

It then dropped the cub and ran head-first into a wall, killing itself.

Many TCM practitioners have denounced the use of bear bile in their treatment as there are cheaper herbs and synthetics that can be used in its place.

Bear bile is traditionally used to remove 'heat' from the body as well as treat high fever, liver ailments and sore eyes.

So where do I start.

Everyone remembers the new girl who was called out in the school hall of Sri Garden in the middle of the year, 2009, by our witty headmistress.

Frankly, I don't recall that moment.. probably because I expected a new 'boy' but the moment I heard new 'GIRL', I was like.. mleh.. (LOL DON'T JUDGE ME xD)

But anyway, she ended up in my class and I didn't really talk to her much.

I noticed her and her camera are like best friends though. Haha

Zooming to the year 2010,

we talked more after she invited me to sit with her and the others for break time one day in February.

From then on, we got closer perhaps?

We helped each other with our boy problems.

I've seen him and her conquer bad times and become this couple who were adored by many and grow into two people who loved and looked out for each other well.

It's heartbreaking to read the msg and not to mention, blog post.

While reading them, I know exactly how all those beautiful awesome sweet moments feel like,

and to have it stop in its tracks just like that,

is just... well, it made me cry for them.

It's not the end of it. Everything will be alright in the end.

If it's not alright, it's not the end.

But if this is fate's design,

be strong.

You're a strong girl.

Everything happens for a reason and it'll all be alright.

Rocky is the second fighting fish after Hippo. I got another one a few weeks after Hippo died but that one died cuz it was stupid and it didn't want to eat.... stupid fish.

SO me and Arif got this guy, years later (a few weeks ago) and then it died just now :'(

This fish has fought and been through tough times.

Ok fine, I dropped the fish into the basin DRAIN but I got him out

and SUUURE he survived a few attacks from the mean cat.

..... not sure if I was over feeding him cuz he was getting big at his tummy area.. unless it's an infection or something...

BUT ANYWAY~

No fish can survive long after Hippo. I had him for a really long time :(

I'll miss Hippo and Rocky a lot.

Not the first one after Hippo... stupid fish.

I haven't had a long thought out post in such a long looong long time.
I just feel like I have no need to express myself so much on this blog anymore. Or what shenanigan is going through my mind.

My first semester is ending soon and WHOA I've been back from NS for many months now. Seriously, the weeks are flying by faster every time. I'm turning 18 soon and I honestly still feel like i'm 16 going on 17.

Anyway, the thought of someone, anyone, leaving your life for good just like that is haunting and scary. I've been thinking about it a lot recently. Have I told the ones in my life what I want to tell them yet?
If I were to tell all of those who has come and go in my life all at once, I would say,

"Thank you for being in my life. You've changed my life and shaped me to become who I am today. I am not perfect and I may have done wrong to you. I can only hope that whatever I have done will be forgiven."

So we're waiting for it to grow back and then release it. It's still relying on me to shove food in its beak though.

Awesome.

I love them.
All my life..
I've learned a lot about people AND myself through my friends.
I've had awesome and not so awesome experiences with them.
I realize what a true friend is over the years.
I learned how to be a friend over the years as well.
Hoping I've become a true friend to some.

No matter what colour, religion, background, etc, they're all unique and special.

They helped me through thick and thin.
Have been there when I was lost.

True, I have become distant with some of my very close friends before.. I miss them.
